Praise the scripture. That just means put it in your own words. And so we see in verse 18, Jesus is telling his disciples how to pray without giving up. If we were doing verse by verse through this, we would know that Jesus is close to the cross, about to be crucified. So in context of Luke, Jesus is giving them lastm minute important teachings. He even says in the end of this, "Nevertheless, when the son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?"
Meaning he's teaching them how to pray until he comes back. So that lets us know what this parable is supposed to teach us. But there's a lot going on in this parable. So I need to divide it and figure out what Jesus is saying. So in this parable we have two subjects. We have a judge and we have a widow. And then this judge, the parable tells us he's unrighteous.
